Surfaces

1. What surfaces can Antimicrobial Protection (AMP)+ be used on?

Disinfects hard non-porous, non-food contact surfaces. An effective disinfectant, non-food contact surfaces for use in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and other household areas.

2. Does Antimicrobial Protection (AMP)+ leave a harmful residue?

Surfaces: Does not harm polished wood, painted surfaces, leather, textiles, or acrylic plastics. Do not use on raw or untreated wood. For other surfaces, spot test in an inconspicuous area.

3. What is the process for application of the product?

Make sure all areas have been washed with soap and water prior to disinfectant application.

To disinfect bacteria*: Let stand for 10 minutes then allow to air dry.

To treat viruses: Let stand for at least 3 minutes then allow to air dry.

To control the growth of germs and their odors on surfaces: Pre-clean of debris. Spray surface with an even coat of Antimicrobial Protection (AMP)+. Allow surface(s) to air dry. For high traffic areas repeat the application process daily. For lower traffic areas treat weekly.


4. Directions for use:

Do not use on food contact surfaces. Do not use on food contact utensils, glasses, or dishes.

Hard Surface: Spray-shake well. Antimicrobial Protection (AMP)+ comes ready to use. Spray directly onto surface, spray entire surface area 4”-6” from hard, non-porous surface until completely wet; surface must remain wet for 3-10 minutes (depending on virus or bacteria treatment) and then allow to air dry.


5. What protective equipment should be used?

While AMP+ is not a toxic product, we do recommend that basic PPE be worn when applying. Eye protection, gloves, and a mask should be worn when applying AMP+. A respirator is not required. All disinfectants and antimicrobial solutions are classified as pesticides by the EPA. For first aid information please refer to the product label.


6. Does Antimicrobial Protection (AMP)+ need to be mixed or diluted before use?

There is no need to dilute or mix AMP+. Further dilution will reduce the efficacy of the product.


7. Can this product be used to disinfect my hands or food?

We do not recommend using AMP+ directly on skin or on food or food contact surfaces such as dishes and utensils. AMP+ is safe to use on tables and countertops as long as the surface is dry.

Odor

1. Does Antimicrobial Protection (AMP)+ create harsh fumes?

AMP+ leaves behind no fumes or harsh chemical odors.


2. Does Antimicrobial Protection (AMP)+ have any fragrance or smell?

No. It has no fragrance, AMP+ does not mask odors, it eliminates them at the source


3. Does Antimicrobial Protection (AMP)+ deodorize surfaces?

AMP+ controls odors caused by mold and mildew. Deodorizes by killing odor causing bacteria*. Eliminates the growth of odor causing bacteria between cleanings. For harsher odors such as smoke please inquire about our ClearKO and OE products.


4. How do I use AMP+ to deodorize?

Spray on surfaces as needed.

1. Is Antimicrobial Protection (AMP)+ effective against COVID-19?

AMP+ has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to SARS-CoV-2 on hard, non-porous surfaces. Therefore, AMP+ can be used against SARS-CoV-2 when used in accordance with the directions for use against Rotavirus-WA on hard, non-porous surfaces. Storage and Disposal

Store in original container in areas inaccessible to small children. Do not store in direct sunlight. Non-refillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Wrap container and put in trash or offer for recycling, if available.
